Job Description


Supervise, train and develop assigned staff. Gather, translate and document business requirements of assigned projects. Research, identify and document continuous improvement process opportunities. Identify and analyze root cause for deduction disputes.  Propose resolution(s) and quantify impact of proposed solutions. Design and create tools and processes for analysis. Oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned areas of Deductions Department.




  • Oversee daily review and compliance of Deductions standards within organizational policies and
  • Train, direct and provide guidance to
  • Assist in prioritizing team member responsibilities and
  • Executes and implements processes efficiencies and changes as outlined by Deduction Manager.
  • Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures for all Deduction types and resolution process
  • Maintain user documentation outlining business system(s), operational processes, deduction logic, mathematical formulas and Supplier charge-back
  • Conducts performance Provides suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform initial interviews with candidates for open
  • Perform business system and/or report testing, construct test outlines and execute to predefined time lines as outlined.
  • Maintain employees' attendance and update attendance tracking
  • Performs other job duties as


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent related field preferred


  • Five years of Financial or Analytical experience
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Project Management preferred



  • High level of business acumen relating to finance and profitability
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Access, VBA, SQL, MRS, PowerPivot and/or Lawson preferred



  • Ability to efficiently and proactively manage others
  • Ability to tailor communication to audience with proven strength in both verbal and written communication.
  • Partner with internal departments, suppliers, and customers
  • Proven ability to manage processes while maintaining accountability related to needed

results and actions

  • Analytical ability to perform deduction research and reconciliations in order to resolve

Supplier disputes

  • Detail oriented with a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
