Job Description


The Quality Assurance Manager will be an ambassador of quality across the business. This role requires a dynamic experienced individual who has the ability to network and manage relationships across many different functions. He/she will lead the strategy through execution of the Quality Assurance (QA) processes for all enterprise business platforms. Partner closely with internal stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and implement defined testing processes to ensure that applications conform to the desired quality standards. This role also requires interaction with executive management to report QA plans, progress, and metrics.




  • Work with business and development teams to understand requirements.
  • Develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy after analyzing all the systems involved in the solution.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality test strategies plans and test cases across all streams of work.
  • Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitor and report on test execution.
  • Work with a team of quality engineering professionals (onsite/offshore) to devise overall strategies.
  • Work on a shared service model and able to balance resource needs across multiple projects and software methodologies.
  • Performs other job duties as required.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field



  • 5-8+ years QA management experience
  • System Implementation Preferred



  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and the importance of QA involvement throughout the entire cycle
  • Working knowledge of testing management tools and metrics reporting



  • Self-starter, with solid oral and written communication skills; ability to work with QA and Engineering management on recommendations and process improvements across the organization. Strong organizational skills
  • A strong leader with a collaborative work style willing to mentor direct reports
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift to respond to changing business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts, and system administrators
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams
